Through its components, PERU-Hub is working to become a center for the generation and transfer of technology to promote agricultural, economic and social development in the rural communities of the San Martin region. The hub will be located in Pucayacu (Tarapoto), where one of the estates of Instituto Regional de Desarrollo (IRD) from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM) is located.

In addition, PERU-Hub will promote sustainable resource management and incorporate women entrepreneurs and native communities into the value chains. We present interesting results of the project so far in its second year of implementation.
